Fontana Gabrio Matte Black Touchless Sink Faucet FAQ
0.5–1.5 GPM Aerator Range, Single-Hole Mount;
Disc Valve Control & Vandal-Resistant Brass Construction
The Fontana Gabrio FS7105MB combines touchless operation,
solid-brass construction, adjustable aerated flow,
and single-hole deck-mounted installation.
How should the 0.5–1.5 GPM aerator range be selected for the basin?
Select the outlet flow according to basin depth, bowl geometry,
supply pressure, and project water-use requirements. After installation,
operate the faucet through repeated sensor cycles and confirm that the
selected aerator provides stable discharge without excessive splash,
turbulence, or water striking the basin rim.
How should the 5.43-inch spout reach be coordinated with the basin?
Position the single-hole mounting point so the 5.43-inch spout projection
places the discharge stream within the central usable portion of the bowl.
The 5.20-inch outlet height should also be evaluated against basin depth
to maintain comfortable hand clearance while limiting splash beyond the
countertop perimeter.
What should be checked when commissioning the disc valve and hot-cold supply?
Flush both supply hoses before final connection to remove construction
debris that could affect the disc valve core or outlet. Verify correct
hot-cold routing and cycle the faucet repeatedly while checking for
stable flow, complete closure, and leakage at concealed connections.
Any irregular discharge should be investigated before final turnover.
How should the vandal-resistant deck mounting be secured for high-use installations?
Confirm that the mounting surface is structurally sound and that the
supplied hardware is tightened evenly beneath the deck. Maintain service
access to supply hoses and concealed components. After fastening, test
the faucet for rotation, movement, or looseness and recheck the mounting
assembly following repeated operating cycles.
