Gun-metal gray gave our architecture studio's client washroom the darker look we wanted without committing to full matte black. The faucet has performed reliably, and having hot-water functionality suited the conventional basin setup better than a purely decorative fixture would have. My reservation is cosmetic: mineral traces become noticeable faster than on the brushed fixtures elsewhere in the building. Our cleaning team manages that easily enough, but it is worth acknowledging. Functionally we have had no complaint, and the color still looks excellent against the pale countertop.
