What must remain clear while the Lima sensor performs its initial calibration?
Keep the sink and detection area free of hands, tools, packaging,
and other objects when power is first connected. The controller
automatically establishes its sensing distance after energization;
disturbing the detection field during this period can produce an
unsuitable operating range.
Why should the supply piping be flushed before connecting the control box?
Construction debris can restrict the hydraulic path or interfere
with the automatic valve. Flush the water lines into a container
before final connection, then cycle the faucet and inspect for
leakage, stable discharge, and complete shutoff before placing
the fixture into service.
Where should the Lima control box be positioned below the counter?
Mount the control box where the sensor cable, incoming supply,
and flexible outlet hose can reach without tension. Maintain
service access and avoid sharp hose bends, kinks, or twisting,
since restricted routing can reduce hydraulic performance and
complicate future maintenance.
Does the Lima remain operational if mains power is interrupted?
The installation supports DC 6V operation using four AA alkaline
batteries as well as an AC-powered configuration. Where both are
provided, the battery pack serves as backup during a mains-power
