Visually, the Virelia worked particularly well in the contemporary restroom package we were developing. Chrome gave us the neutral architectural character needed to coordinate with the surrounding accessories without making the faucet overly decorative. From a facilities perspective, the main drawback is predictable: the reflective surface shows spotting faster than satin finishes in heavily used washrooms. Regular wiping addresses it, however, and the overall presentation remains sharp enough that we consider the specification successful.

Virelia is more interesting from a specification standpoint than its polished chrome appearance initially suggests. Fontana identifies the FS10528 family within its certified-product program, alongside documentation categories covering plumbing performance, water efficiency, potable-water materials and accessibility. Fontana Showers That is the right direction for an AEC submittal, although I would still require the current model-specific certificates rather than relying on a collection page alone. Chrome keeps finish coordination uncomplicated, making this a potentially strong candidate where documentation and design standardization carry more weight than novelty.
