FontanaAerune™ Matte White Wall-Mounted Touchless Faucet FAQ
Wall Rough-In Alignment, Sensor Field Control; Matte White Finish Protection
The FontanaAerune™ Matte White touchless faucet combines solid-brass construction, wall-mounted single-hole installation, infrared hands-free activation, a replaceable ceramic cartridge, and a compact 7.4-inch-high body designed for minimalist commercial and residential washrooms.
How should the concealed wall connection be aligned before the faucet body is installed?
Set the rough-in outlet square to the finished wall and confirm that the mounting surface is flat, rigid, and properly waterproofed. Misalignment can prevent the round escutcheon from seating evenly, place lateral stress on the brass body, and direct the stream away from the intended basin landing point.
How should the infrared sensing field be tested with a wall-mounted spout?
Complete sensor testing after the basin, mirror, backsplash, and countertop accessories are installed. Confirm that normal hand placement beneath the outlet activates water promptly without detecting the basin surface, reflected light, nearby movement, or objects beyond the intended washing zone.
What should be inspected if the faucet drips after the sensor cycle ends?
Flush the supply line, inspect the inlet filter, and cycle the replaceable ceramic cartridge several times. Construction debris, excessive dynamic pressure, unstable power, or contamination at the valve seat can prevent complete closure and produce delayed shutoff or intermittent dripping.
How should the Matte White finish be cleaned without creating glossy or discolored areas?
Wipe the faucet with a soft damp microfiber cloth and dry it immediately after cleaning. Use diluted pH-neutral soap only and avoid abrasive pads, acidic descalers, bleach, ammonia, alcohol-heavy cleaners, metal polish, and concentrated disinfectants that may alter the uniform matte coating.
