How should the concealed wall rough-in be coordinated before the finished faucet is installed?
Set the concealed connection level, square to the finished wall, and rigidly supported before closing the wall. Coordinate the faucet centerline with the basin drain and verify the manufacturer’s finished-wall projection so the trim seats correctly and the water stream lands within the intended washing zone.
How should the infrared sensor be commissioned in a commercial washroom?
Test repeated hand entry from several approach angles after the basin, mirror, backsplash, lighting, soap dispenser, and surrounding finishes are installed. Confirm rapid activation, stable discharge, immediate shutoff after hand removal, and resistance to false triggering from mirrors or other reflective surfaces.
What should be checked if the faucet begins dripping or shuts off slowly?
Flush the supply line, inspect the inlet passage for construction debris, clean the sensor window, and verify that the replaceable ceramic cartridge is seating correctly. Sediment, unstable pressure, contamination at the valve seat, or sensor interference can prevent complete shutoff and should be corrected before cartridge replacement.
How should the Gold finish be cleaned without scratching or dulling its surface?
Remove fingerprints, water spots, and soap residue with a soft damp microfiber cloth, then dry the faucet immediately. Use diluted pH-neutral soap only and avoid abrasive pads, acidic descalers, bleach, ammonia, steel wool, polishing powders, metal polish, and concentrated disinfectants.
