Rotate the control gradually through its complete operating range while checking for smooth movement, predictable flow adjustment, stable temperature response, and complete shutoff. Binding, abrupt changes, or excessive resistance may indicate incorrect mounting alignment, supply imbalance, or contamination inside the ceramic valve.
How should the faucet be positioned over the basin before tightening the mounting hardware?
Coordinate the 5.11-inch spout reach and 4.92-inch spout height with the basin drain and washing area. Confirm that the stream lands away from the rear wall and curved basin surfaces, then tighten the single-hole mounting hardware evenly without rotating or loading the faucet body.
What should be checked if flow becomes uneven or the faucet does not shut off completely?
Flush the hot and cold supplies independently, inspect the inlet connections for debris, and verify that both service stops are operating correctly.
