How should the two deck openings be positioned before the faucet is installed?
Mark both openings from the manufacturer’s installation dimensions and coordinate the spout centerline with the basin drain. Confirm that the deck is flat and structurally rigid, then tighten the mounting hardware evenly so the faucet and remote control remain aligned without loading the concealed supply connections.
How should the single handle and ceramic valve be commissioned?
Flush the hot and cold branches independently before making the final connections. Move the handle through its complete flow and temperature range while checking for smooth movement, predictable mixing, stable discharge, complete shutoff, and leakage around the valve or mounting connections.
What should be checked if flow or temperature becomes inconsistent?
Inspect both service stops, supply hoses, inlet connections, and ceramic valve passages for construction debris or restriction. Unequal dynamic pressure, trapped air, partially closed stops, or sediment inside the valve can reduce flow and cause abrupt temperature changes.
