Fontana Palmanova Brushed Grey Wall-Mounted Touchless Faucet FAQ
ToF Sensor Control, AC/DC Power;
Wall-Mounted Geometry & Hot-Cold Water Integration
The Fontana Palmanova FS8094BGR combines ToF touchless sensing,
brass construction, wall-mounted installation, and hot-cold water control.
How should the ToF sensing field be commissioned after wall installation?
Commission the sensing system only after the basin, wall finish,
mirror, lighting, and accessories are permanently installed. Perform
repeated hand-entry tests at the intended washing position and verify
consistent activation and automatic shutoff. Check reflective surfaces
or nearby objects if false triggering occurs.
How should the concealed wall rough-in be coordinated with the basin?
Establish the faucet centerline and finished-wall plane before closing
the wall assembly. Coordinate the concealed supply, sensor components,
mounting support, and service access with the basin position. The outlet
should project over the usable bowl area so the discharge stream lands
inside the basin without excessive backsplash or countertop wetting.
What should be verified when commissioning the hot-cold water supply?
Flush both supply branches before connecting the faucet and verify
correct hot-cold routing. Check the selected mixed-water condition
through repeated sensor cycles and confirm stable discharge without
abrupt temperature variation. Concealed connections should remain
accessible for inspection, adjustment, and future servicing.
How should the AC/DC system be coordinated for continuous operation?
Locate the power supply and control components in an accessible,
protected service zone rather than permanently sealing them behind
finished construction. During commissioning, verify sensor response,
valve actuation, automatic shutoff, and power continuity. Where both
AC and DC provisions are used, confirm correct wiring and backup-power
operation before completing the installation.
