Fontana Mirage Commercial Automatic Motion Sensor Faucet

Commercial motion sensor faucet offers touchless operation, water efficiency, and durable design for hygienic restroom environments. The Mirage Automatic Motion Sensor Faucet is a commercial faucet that eliminates the need to touch or turn handles. Preset the temperature and flow rate to ensure consistency. Through the use of sensor beams, the automatic faucet determines when an object is in front of it and automatically turns on the faucet. Infrared detection circuitry, electronically actuated solenoid, calibrated sensing field, automatic shutoff control, high-cycle commercial valve architecture.

The automatic motion sensor faucet provides water only when needed to reduce water waste. Unlike regular faucets where sometimes we turn the water on and then walk away, this faucet is preset to shut off after approximately 30 seconds. And, because they are hands free faucets, they help reduce the spread of germs and keep the vanity area clean. WaterSense certified performance supports municipal rebate programs and standardized water compliance. Improve sanitation with automatic faucet delivering reliable sensor performance, sleek aesthetics, and consistent functionality. Commercial Motion Sensor Faucet; Engineered for hygiene with automatic activation, water-saving technology, durable construction, and vandal-resistant design for high-traffic restroom environments. Motion-sensor faucet minimizes contamination exposure and supports touch-free commercial hygiene operations. Commercial automatic faucet featuring advanced motion-sensor technology, touchless hygienic operation, water-saving efficiency, and durable construction for high-traffic environments. Commercial Motion Sensor Faucet; Utilizes infrared sensor technology, automatic shutoff, and commercial-grade water-saving performance. Calibrated infrared detection actuates electronic solenoid valving for hygienic, timed, demand-controlled commercial water delivery.

Fontana Mirage™ Chrome Commercial Automatic Motion Sensor Faucet FAQ

Adjustable Infrared Sensing, AC/DC Power; 0.3-Second Response & Chrome Surface Protection

The Fontana Mirage™ Chrome Commercial Automatic Motion Sensor Faucet combines solid-brass construction, deck mounting, adjustable infrared sensing, AC/DC power, and rapid automatic shutoff for high-traffic commercial washrooms.

How should the adjustable infrared sensing range be commissioned?

Complete sensor commissioning after the basin, countertop, mirror, lighting, backsplash, and nearby restroom accessories are fully installed. Test repeated hand-entry and withdrawal cycles within the specified sensing zone and confirm approximately 0.3-second activation response followed by reliable shutoff. Check mirrors, polished surfaces, and nearby objects for unintended infrared triggering before final handover.

How should the AC110V and DC6V power options be coordinated?

Determine the intended power arrangement before completing the undercounter installation. The faucet supports AC110V and DC6V operation. Keep the control box, power connections, sensor wiring, and battery compartment accessible for servicing and protected from plumbing leakage. After power is connected, perform repeated activation cycles and verify stable sensor response and complete automatic valve closure.

What should be checked if water flow or shutoff becomes inconsistent?

Flush the supply piping before final connection and inspect the G1/2-inch water path, 50-mesh particle filter, supply hoses, valve body, and aerator for sediment or construction debris. If sensor detection remains reliable but flow becomes weak, delayed, or fails to stop completely, troubleshoot the hydraulic and valve components separately from the electronic sensor system.

How should the Chrome finish and sensor window be maintained?

Clean the exposed Chrome surfaces with a soft damp microfiber cloth and dry them after cleaning to minimize fingerprints, soap film, and mineral deposits. Keep the infrared sensor window and outlet free from residue that could interfere with detection or flow. Avoid abrasive pads, steel wool, acidic cleaners, bleach, ammonia, and aggressive metal polish.
