The Fontana FS-354AB combines commercial touchless sensing, AC/DC power,
brass construction, and 1.2 GPM controlled water delivery.
How should the 16–32 cm sensing range be commissioned?
Complete commissioning after the basin, countertop, mirror, lighting,
and surrounding accessories are installed. Test repeated hand-entry
and withdrawal cycles throughout the adjustable sensing zone and confirm
opening in less than 1 second and closing within approximately 2 seconds.
How should the 1.2 GPM flow and operating pressure be verified?
Flush the supply before final connection and perform repeated activation
cycles. Confirm approximately 1.2 GPM at 60 PSI and stable operation
within the specified pressure range. Inspect the G1/2-inch water path
and outlet if flow becomes restricted.
How should the AC/DC power system and motor valve be serviced?
Maintain access to the transformer, battery compartment, controller,
sensor wiring, and motor valve. The valve is rated for up to 500,000
cycles, while the battery system is rated for approximately 100,000
cycles. Verify the factory-set 30-second timeout during commissioning.
How should the Antique Brass finish and sensor area be maintained?
Clean exposed surfaces with a soft damp microfiber cloth and dry them
afterward. Keep the sensor and aerator free from soap film and mineral
deposits. Avoid abrasive pads, steel wool, acidic cleaners, bleach,
ammonia, and aggressive metal-polishing compounds.
