The antique-brass appearance suggests traditional plumbing, yet the automatic operation gives this fixture a completely different functional character. That contrast makes sense for heritage hotels, private clubs, restaurants, and renovations where contemporary chrome sensor fittings would interrupt the design language. What matters most is that users do not have to interact differently simply because the faucet looks traditional; touchless activation should remain immediate and intuitive. I would make the control and power components easy to reach because future maintenance should not require disturbing decorative finishes or finished cabinetry. Antique brass also needs an appropriate cleaning protocol rather than aggressive polishing. When those practical details are respected, modern automation becomes almost invisible within a convincingly traditional presentation.

Three months in, the faucet itself hasn't given us any real operational problems. What I notice more is how quickly the matte black shows residue around the areas that get splashed regularly. Our janitorial crew keeps it under control, but it takes more frequent attention than the brushed fixtures elsewhere in the building. I still like the simple design and the sensor responds well. I'd probably rate it higher in a lower-traffic restroom.
