Fontana Chrome Commercial Automatic Touchless Sensor Faucet FAQ
10–30 cm Adjustable Sensing, Anti-Water-Hammer Valve;
AC/DC Power & Configurable Commercial Flow
The Fontana FS2128 combines adjustable touchless sensing,
solid-brass construction, anti-water-hammer valving, and
configurable commercial water delivery.
How should the 10–30 cm sensing field be commissioned?
Complete final sensor adjustment after the basin, countertop, mirror,
lighting, and nearby accessories are installed. The sensing distance
can be adjusted within approximately 10–30 cm. Test normal hand-entry
positions and reduce excessive range where polished surfaces or nearby
fixtures create unintended activation.
How should the anti-water-hammer solenoid valve be evaluated?
Cycle the faucet repeatedly under normal dynamic pressure and listen
for abnormal pipe shock when the solenoid closes. The anti-water-hammer
valve is intended to reduce hydraulic transients during automatic
shutoff. Persistent impact noise should prompt inspection of supply
pressure, pipe restraint, valve operation, and upstream plumbing.
How should the selectable flow configuration be commissioned?
Select the outlet flow appropriate to the basin and project water-use
requirements, then test under actual operating pressure. Available
configurations include approximately 1, 1.9, 2, 3.8, 4, and 5.7 L/min.
Confirm that the selected discharge provides effective hand washing
without excessive splash or unstable stream behavior.
How should the AC/DC power system be coordinated for commercial service?
Maintain service access to the AC 110–240V supply, DC 6V battery
compartment, controller, sensor wiring, and solenoid valve. The DC
system uses four 1.5V alkaline batteries and is specified for
approximately 50,000 cycles. Verify AC and battery operation
independently before final project turnover.
