4 of 5 Easy to Standardize Saturday, August 8, 2026
Reviewer: Darren McIntyre from Salem, OR
Standardizing fixtures across several office restrooms was our goal, so we weren't looking for something overly decorative. These chrome automatic faucets gave us a consistent appearance and familiar maintenance routine from floor to floor. Our plumbing team tested the sensing during turnover and only needed minor adjustments. Since then, service calls have been rare. Water spots show between cleaning rounds, as expected with polished chrome, but that's easier for us to manage than having several different faucet types throughout the property.

4 of 5 Simplicity Carries Weight Friday, June 5, 2026
Reviewer: Leonard Pierce from Cleveland, OH
This chrome commercial model benefits from a restrained specification approach: reliable automatic operation, accessible components, and repeatable installation matter more than decorative complexity. Fontana's current AEC guidance for FS2128 emphasizes sensor calibration, power routing, vandal-resistant detailing, finished-counter ADA clearances, project flow requirements, and keeping the filter and aerator serviceable. Those are useful priorities for facilities that may eventually maintain many identical units. Chrome also makes replacement-hardware and accessory coordination comparatively uncomplicated, even though routine spotting remains visible. I would establish one approved basin relationship and service layout before releasing multiple stations. When those fundamentals are standardized, the faucet becomes easier for installers, commissioning personnel, housekeeping teams, and maintenance technicians to understand throughout its operating life.

4 of 5 Flow Precision Achieved Monday, May 18, 2026
Reviewer: Noah Simmons, Operations Consultant from Fort Collins, CO
Hydraulic testing confirmed highly controlled discharge characteristics under both minimum and peak operating pressures. Stable flow regulation combined with dependable sensor response has reduced water consumption while maintaining excellent user performance during continuous commercial occupancy.

4 of 5 Reduced Flow Interruptions Monday, January 19, 2026
Reviewer: Opal Whitmore, Operations Consultant from Madison, WI
We upgraded several transportation and healthcare restroom facilities between 2022 and 2025 after older chrome touchless faucets repeatedly developed inconsistent stream behavior, unstable infrared activation, and delayed shutoff timing during continuous public usage, and by 2026 this faucet has maintained noticeably steadier operational consistency than previous chrome sensor fixtures maintained in comparable high-traffic environments. Earlier systems frequently struggled with reflective wall interference and changing restroom lighting conditions that caused repeated recalibration requests, whereas this faucet maintained steadier activation timing with smoother stream consistency throughout repeated operation cycles. Maintenance supervisors also observed fewer interruption-related service calls following installation. One deeper basin application required slight sensitivity refinements during setup, but once optimized the infrared responsiveness and valve consistency remained highly dependable overall.
