Fontana Commercial Antique Bronze Automatic Infrared Faucet FAQ
16–32 cm Adaptive Sensing, 1.5 GPM Flow;
Below-Deck Mixing & 30-Second Safety Timeout
The Fontana FS10141AB combines commercial infrared activation,
1.5 GPM delivery, AC/DC power, and below-deck temperature mixing.
How should the 16–32 cm sensor field be commissioned in a high-traffic restroom?
Complete sensor adjustment after the basin, mirror, lighting, and
countertop accessories are installed. Test repeated hand entry across
the 16–32 cm adjustable field and confirm opening in less than one
second. Reduce unnecessary range if reflective surfaces or adjacent
fixtures cause unintended activation.
How should the below-deck temperature mixer be commissioned?
Flush the hot and cold branches before connecting the below-deck
manual mixing valve. Establish the required mixed-water temperature
under normal dynamic pressure, then complete repeated sensor cycles.
Verify temperature stability and retain service access to the mixer
for future adjustment and maintenance.
What should be verified with the 1.5 GPM flow and G1/2-inch water path?
Confirm that the G1/2-inch supply connections are free of construction
debris and restrictions before final commissioning. Operate the faucet
repeatedly and verify stable 1.5 GPM delivery without valve chatter,
excessive splash, or pressure-related fluctuation. Inspect concealed
fittings for leakage under normal operating pressure.
How should the 30-second timeout and valve lifecycle be tested?
Hold a target continuously within the sensing field and verify the
factory-set 30-second maximum run period. After the target is removed,
closure should occur within approximately two seconds. The motor valve
is rated for up to 500,000 cycles, while the battery system is rated
for approximately 100,000 operating cycles.
