Fontana Light Oil Rubbed Bronze Commercial Touchless Faucet FAQ
17 cm Self-Adjusting Detection, AC/DC Power;
4.92-Inch Reach & Commercial Brass Construction
The Fontana FS1327-S-LORB combines infrared touchless control,
brass construction, compact deck geometry, and dual AC/DC power
for commercial restroom applications.
What does the self-adjusting sensor change after installation?
The sensing system automatically adapts its effective detection
distance to the installed environment, with a nominal reference
around 17 cm. Complete final testing after the basin, mirror,
lighting, and countertop finishes are installed so reflective
surfaces do not create unintended activation.
Which basin proportions best suit the 4.92-inch spout reach?
Coordinate the 4.92-inch projection and 3.93-inch outlet height
with the bowl before final deck drilling. The stream should land
well inside the primary washing zone without striking the rear
wall or shallow edge of the basin, particularly in compact
commercial lavatories.
Why should the flexible supply hose remain free of twisting?
Kinks, sharp bends, and twisting can restrict the hydraulic path
between the control box and faucet. Route the hose with a smooth
bend radius and keep it clear of the trap, cabinet structure,
mounting hardware, and power components so flow performance and
future servicing remain reliable.
When should AC and battery operation be tested independently?
Verify both power modes during final commissioning rather than
waiting for a mains interruption. The faucet supports DC 6V
operation with four AA alkaline batteries and AC110–220V power.
Repeated cycles should confirm stable sensor response and complete
automatic shutoff under both power conditions.
