The Fontana Saint-Malo™ Grey Touchless Faucet combines copper
construction, ToF sensing, a swivel low-arc spout, and wall-mounted
installation for commercial and contemporary washrooms.
How should the ToF touchless sensor be commissioned after installation?
Complete commissioning after the basin, wall finish, mirror, lighting,
and surrounding fixtures are installed. Perform repeated hand-entry and
withdrawal cycles from normal washing positions and verify consistent
activation and complete shutoff. Check reflective surfaces and nearby
objects for unintended triggering before final handover.
How should the 8-inch wall-mounted spout reach be coordinated with the basin?
Establish the wall rough-in and basin centerline before final installation.
The 8-inch spout reach should position discharge within the primary
washing zone. Verify that the stream does not strike the rear basin wall
or shallow front edge and confirm adequate hand clearance and splash
control before completing the installation.
How should the low-arc swivel spout and aerator be serviced?
Confirm smooth swivel movement without stressing the wall connection.
If flow becomes weak or irregular, flush the supply and inspect the
included aerator and internal water path for sediment or mineral buildup.
Hydraulic restrictions should be corrected before troubleshooting the
electronic sensing system.
How should the Grey finish and sensor area be maintained?
Clean exposed surfaces with a soft damp microfiber cloth and dry them
afterward. Keep the ToF sensor area and aerator free from soap film and
mineral deposits. Avoid abrasive pads, steel wool, acidic cleaners,
bleach, ammonia, and aggressive polishing compounds that could damage
the Grey finish or sensing surface.
