Fontana Commercial Temperature Control Wave Sensor Faucet FAQ
16–32 cm Adjustable Detection, Hot/Cold Mixing;
AC/DC Power & 500,000-Cycle Valve
The Fontana FS6109 combines wave-activated infrared control,
hot/cold mixing, dual AC/DC power, and commercial single-hole installation.
Which supply orientation must be maintained for temperature control?
The installation arrangement integrates separate hot and cold supplies,
with the hot-water connection routed to the specified front pipe.
Flush both supply lines before connection and verify temperature
adjustment under normal dynamic pressure. Keep the mixing connections
accessible below the deck for commissioning and future servicing.
What determines the correct setting within the 16–32 cm detection zone?
Detection should be adjusted around the completed basin geometry rather
than automatically set to maximum range. Confirm reliable activation
from normal hand positions while excluding the bowl surface, drain,
countertop edge, and reflective surroundings. Final testing should
occur after mirrors, lighting, and accessories are installed.
Why does flexible-hose routing matter below the countertop?
The connecting hose between the control assembly and faucet must remain
free of sharp bends, kinks, and twisting. Restricted hose geometry can
reduce hydraulic performance and stress the connection. Coordinate the
hose, G1/2-inch plumbing, sensor cable, power components, and trap before
closing the under-counter service area.
When should the 500,000-cycle motor valve be checked during commissioning?
Cycle the faucet repeatedly after flushing the pipework and establishing
normal operating pressure. Confirm opening in less than one second and
closing in less than two seconds without chatter, leakage, or delayed
response. Clean incoming water and stable pressure help protect the
motor valve throughout high-frequency commercial operation.
