The Fontana Couron™ Chrome Automatic Touchless Sensor Faucet combines
solid-brass construction, single-hole deck mounting, infrared hands-free
operation, and controlled water delivery for commercial washrooms.
How should the touchless sensor field be commissioned after installation?
Complete commissioning after the basin, countertop, mirror, lighting,
backsplash, and surrounding fixtures are fully installed. Test repeated
hand-entry and withdrawal cycles and confirm prompt activation followed
by complete automatic shutoff. Check reflective surfaces for unintended
infrared triggering before placing the faucet into service.
How should the 0.05–0.8 MPa operating pressure range be verified?
Flush the supply piping before final connection and verify that dynamic
pressure remains within the specified 0.05–0.8 MPa range. Perform repeated
sensor cycles and confirm stable discharge. Weak or irregular flow should
prompt inspection of supply valves, inlet connections, internal passages,
and the outlet before sensor components are replaced.
How should the 4.92-inch spout length and 3.93-inch spout height be coordinated?
Establish the single-hole mounting position relative to the actual basin
before drilling or final tightening. The 4.92-inch spout projection should
place the stream within the primary washing zone, while the 3.93-inch
spout height and 6.69-inch overall faucet height should provide adequate
hand clearance without excessive splash.
How should the Chrome finish and sensor surface be maintained?
Clean the exposed Chrome surfaces with a soft damp microfiber cloth and
dry them after cleaning. Keep the infrared sensor area and water outlet
free from soap film and mineral deposits. Avoid abrasive pads, steel wool,
acidic descalers, bleach, ammonia, and aggressive metal polish that may
scratch or dull the Chrome finish.
