We replaced several older freestanding brushed-nickel touchless faucets across executive-office and municipal restroom upgrades between 2022 and 2025 after repeated complaints involving unstable infrared activation, inconsistent stream interruption, and delayed shutoff timing during continuous public usage, and by 2026 this faucet has maintained considerably steadier operational consistency than previous freestanding sensor fixtures operating in comparable commercial environments. Earlier systems frequently struggled with reflective sink exposure and fluctuating plumbing pressure conditions that caused repeated recalibration requests, whereas this faucet maintained more dependable motion recognition with smoother stream regulation throughout repeated operation cycles. Maintenance teams also reported fewer interruption-related servicing requests following installation. One compact basin setup required slight sensitivity refinements during setup, but once standardized the infrared responsiveness and operational reliability remained highly dependable overall.
