Fontana Vierzon™ Brushed Gold Deluxe Touchless Bathroom Sink Faucet FAQ
Touchless Sensor Activation, Ceramic Valve Control;
5.91" Spout Reach & Brushed Gold Surface Protection
The Fontana Vierzon™ Brushed Gold Deluxe Touchless Bathroom Sink Faucet combines
solid-brass construction with hands-free sensor operation in a contemporary
single-hole deck-mounted configuration. The faucet supports both hot and cold
water and incorporates a ceramic valve core and ceramic faucet spool for smooth
long-term operation. Its geometry includes a 7.91-inch overall height,
2.17-inch width, 5.91-inch spout reach, and 4.33-inch spout height.
How should the touchless sensor zone be commissioned after installation?
Complete sensor commissioning only after the basin, countertop, backsplash,
mirror, lighting, and surrounding restroom accessories are fully installed.
Perform repeated hand-entry and withdrawal cycles from normal washing
positions and confirm prompt water activation followed by complete automatic
shutoff. Check mirrors, polished stone, metallic accessories, and nearby
movement for unintended sensor triggering before placing the faucet into
regular commercial service.
How should the 5.91-inch spout reach and 4.33-inch spout height be coordinated with the basin?
Establish the single-hole mounting centerline relative to the actual basin
before drilling or final tightening. The 5.91-inch spout reach should
position the stream within the primary handwashing zone without directing
water against the rear basin wall, drain assembly, or shallow front edge.
Confirm that the 4.33-inch spout height provides sufficient hand clearance
while maintaining controlled splash performance.
What should be checked if flow, temperature control, or shutoff becomes inconsistent?
Flush the hot and cold supply lines before final connection and confirm
that service valves and supply connections are fully open and free from
installation debris. Inspect the outlet path, sensor system, ceramic valve
core, and ceramic faucet spool separately. If sensor detection remains
reliable but flow becomes weak, irregular, or fails to shut off completely,
troubleshoot the hydraulic and valve components before replacing electronic
sensor controls.
How should the Brushed Gold finish and sensor area be maintained?
Clean the exposed Brushed Gold brass surfaces with a soft damp microfiber
cloth and dry them after cleaning to minimize fingerprints, soap film,
and mineral spotting. Keep the sensor area and water outlet free from
residue that could affect sensing or flow. Use diluted pH-neutral cleaner
when required and avoid abrasive pads, steel wool, acidic descalers,
bleach, ammonia, aggressive metal polish, and concentrated chemicals that
may scratch or alter the Brushed Gold finish.
