The FontanaCloudDry™ Matte White smart sensor hand dryer combines a brass wall-mounted body,
single-hole installation, touchless sensor activation, HEPA filtration, 95 m/s airflow,
and a 70 dB sound level measured at two meters. The unit is available with either a brushless
or brush motor configuration for commercial washroom applications.
How should the automatic sensor zone be commissioned?
Complete sensor testing after the basin, countertop, mirror, lighting, soap dispenser,
and surrounding accessories are installed. Verify prompt activation from normal hand positions
and confirm that reflective surfaces, passing movement, cleaning equipment, or objects outside
the intended drying zone do not cause false triggering.
What should be checked if the dryer no longer produces strong 95 m/s airflow?
Inspect the HEPA filter, air intake, outlet passage, internal air path, and wall-mounted housing
for restriction. A loaded filter, accumulated debris, blocked intake, or loose internal connection
can reduce airflow and increase the required drying time.
How should the brush or brushless motor be evaluated during maintenance?
Verify immediate startup, stable airflow, consistent operating sound, and complete automatic
shutdown after hand removal. Increased vibration, reduced air velocity, unusual noise, or delayed
acceleration may indicate filter loading, loose mounting hardware, air-path restriction, or motor wear.
How should the Matte White finish be cleaned without creating glossy or discolored areas?
Wipe the exposed surface with a soft damp microfiber cloth and dry it immediately.
Use diluted pH-neutral soap only and avoid abrasive pads, acidic cleaners, bleach, ammonia,
alcohol-heavy products, steel wool, polishing compounds, and concentrated disinfectants
that may alter the uniform Matte White coating.
