How should the wall structure be prepared before mounting the hand dryer?
Secure the mounting plate to structural blocking or approved heavy-duty anchors rather than relying on finish material alone. Confirm that the dryer remains level and rigid under operating vibration, with sufficient clearance for electrical access, filter replacement, ventilation, and future servicing.
When is a brushless motor preferable to the standard brush motor?
A brushless motor is generally better suited to high-traffic facilities where longer service intervals, reduced internal wear, and consistent daily operation are priorities. A brush motor may suit lower-use installations where initial equipment cost is more important than extended maintenance intervals.
What can cause the dryer to operate louder than its specified 70 dB level?
