Fontana Geneva Gooseneck Commercial Automatic Smart Sensor Faucet in Matte Black
0.3-Second Infrared Response, 2.2 GPM Flow Delivery & AC/DC Commercial Control
Designed for high-traffic commercial washrooms, this matte black solid-brass faucet combines active infrared sensing, built-in temperature control, AC/DC power, and a fast-response solenoid system.
How does the 0.3-second infrared response time improve touchless fixture performance?
The active infrared sensor is specified with an approximately 0.3-second response time, allowing the faucet to initiate water delivery quickly after hand detection. This fast activation supports intuitive use in high-traffic commercial environments while reducing the delay commonly associated with slower sensor systems.
How do the 2-second shut-off delay and 60-second maximum run time control water use?
A 2-second shut-off delay helps prevent abrupt cycling when hands briefly move outside the sensing field, while the 60-second maximum running time limits extended unattended discharge. Together, these controls support predictable automatic operation and help reduce unnecessary water consumption in commercial restrooms.
What engineering advantage does the AC110V and DC6V dual-power configuration provide?
The faucet supports both AC110V and DC6V power arrangements, allowing specifiers to coordinate the fixture with permanently powered new construction or battery-supported installations. This dual-power architecture provides greater flexibility when planning electrical access, maintenance routines, and retrofit conditions.
How do the 2.2 GPM aerator and 6-volt magnetic latching solenoid support commercial hydraulic performance?
The standard 2.2 GPM aerator establishes a defined discharge rate for fixture and branch-line planning, while the 6-volt magnetic latching solenoid controls automatic water delivery with low-power actuation. The faucet is specified for commercial operating pressures and includes a 50-mesh particle filter to help protect internal valve components.
