Fontana Commercial Light Oil Rubbed Bronze Touchless Faucet FAQ
16–32 cm Adjustable Sensing, 0.5 GPM Flow;
AC/DC Power & 500,000-Cycle Valve Control
The Fontana FS-SF-126-LORB combines adjustable infrared sensing,
brass construction, controlled commercial flow, and dual
AC/DC power in a single-hole deck-mounted format.
Which sensor setting gives the most reliable response within the 16–32 cm range?
Final detection should be adjusted around the completed lavatory
rather than automatically using maximum range. Test normal hand
approaches after the basin, mirror, lighting, and accessories are
installed, and reduce excessive sensitivity if reflective surfaces,
the drain, or the bowl produce unintended activation.
What makes the 0.5 GPM outlet suitable for commercial hand-washing stations?
The listed 0.5 GPM flow limits water demand while maintaining a
controlled hand-washing stream. During commissioning, verify the
discharge against the actual bowl geometry and inspect the aerator
if the stream becomes uneven, restricted, or begins producing
excessive splash around the countertop.
Why must the 33–35 mm deck opening be confirmed before fabrication?
The specified opening provides clearance for the mounting shank,
sensor wiring, flexible water connection, washers, and locking
hardware. Confirm the 33–35 mm dimension before drilling and retain
adequate underside space for the G1/2-inch plumbing, controller,
battery pack, and future service access.
When should the motor valve and battery endurance be checked?
Complete repeated activation cycles during final commissioning and
verify opening in less than approximately one second and closure
within about two seconds. The motor valve is rated for up to
500,000 cycles, while the battery system is rated for approximately
100,000 cycles.
