The Fontana Dax™ Chrome Sensor Faucet combines cast-brass construction,
adjustable infrared sensing, AC/DC power, and 1.58 GPM commercial flow.
How should the 16–32 cm sensing range be commissioned?
Complete commissioning after the basin, countertop, mirror, lighting,
and surrounding accessories are installed. Test repeated hand-entry
and withdrawal cycles throughout the adjustable 16–32 cm detection
range and confirm opening in less than 1 second and closing within
approximately 2 seconds.
How should the 1.58 GPM flow and operating pressure be verified?
Flush the supply piping before final connection and verify stable
pressure within the specified operating range. Perform repeated sensor
cycles and confirm approximately 1.58 GPM / 6 LPM delivery. If flow
becomes restricted, inspect the G1/2-inch water path and outlet before
servicing electronic components.
How should the AC/DC system and motor valve be serviced?
Maintain access to the controller, transformer, battery compartment,
sensor wiring, and motor valve. The valve is rated for up to 500,000
cycles and the battery system for approximately 100,000 cycles.
Verify the factory-set 30-second timeout during final commissioning.
How should the Chrome finish and sensor area be maintained?
Clean exposed Chrome surfaces with a soft damp microfiber cloth and
dry them afterward. Keep the sensor and outlet free from soap film
and mineral deposits. Avoid abrasive pads, steel wool, acidic cleaners,
bleach, ammonia, and aggressive polishing compounds.
