Fontana Sierra Commercial Brushed Nickel Touchless Faucet FAQ
16–32 cm Adjustable Detection, AC/DC Power;
G1/2" Hydraulics & 500,000-Cycle Valve System
The Fontana Sierra FS-9564BN combines adjustable infrared sensing,
ceramic valving, AC/DC power, and commercial deck-mounted operation.
How should the 33–35 mm deck opening be coordinated before installation?
Verify the finished countertop opening before setting the faucet.
The technical drawing specifies approximately 33–35 mm for the mounting
hole. Keep the opening centered relative to the basin and maintain
adequate underside clearance for the threaded tube, washers, locking
hardware, sensor cable, and flexible water connection.
How should the 16–32 cm infrared detection field be tuned?
Complete final adjustment after the basin, countertop, mirror, and
lighting are installed. Test repeated hand entry throughout the
16–32 cm adjustable zone and confirm activation in less than
approximately one second. Reduce unnecessary range if reflective
surfaces or basin geometry produce unintended sensor response.
What hydraulic checks should be completed across the 0.05–0.6 MPa range?
Flush the supply before connecting the G1/2-inch water path and test
operation under the site's normal dynamic pressure. Confirm stable
discharge without valve chatter, delayed closure, or pressure-induced
leakage. The specified operating envelope is approximately 0.05–0.6 MPa,
so supply conditions should remain within that range.
How should the AC/DC system and valve lifecycle be maintained?
Maintain service access to the AC supply, DC 6V battery compartment,
sensor wiring, and motor valve. The battery circuit uses four AA
alkaline cells and is specified for approximately 100,000 cycles,
while the motor valve is rated for up to approximately 500,000 cycles.
Verify closure within about two seconds during commissioning.
