I wasn't the person who chose the champagne finish, and initially I thought it might be a little too decorative for a commercial restroom. After seeing the completed space, I've changed my mind. It works beautifully with the warmer countertop and doesn't look as flashy as I expected. The automatic sensor has also been dependable. Our housekeeping team uses a gentler cleaner on these, but beyond that we haven't had to give the faucets much special attention.

Tafalla is most convincing when evaluated as equipment rather than simply as a champagne-finished decorative faucet. Automatic operation can reduce unnecessary handling, but the real specification work is confirming the sensing field, power arrangement, water delivery, basin relationship, and future access before multiple units are released for installation. The champagne finish gives designers a warmer alternative to chrome without becoming as visually dominant as brighter gold, making it useful in hospitality and premium workplace interiors. I would approve the finish under actual project lighting because warm metallic tones can shift noticeably between sample boards and completed bathrooms. With the technical coordination completed first, Tafalla can provide an upscale appearance without making routine handwashing unnecessarily complicated.

We replaced several older copper-finish sensor faucets across executive-office restroom modernization projects between 2022 and 2025 after repeated complaints involving unstable infrared activation, inconsistent stream interruption, and delayed shutoff timing during repeated commercial usage, and by 2026 this faucet has maintained substantially steadier operational consistency than previous copper sensor fixtures maintained in comparable commercial environments. Earlier systems frequently struggled with reflective countertop exposure and fluctuating inlet-pressure conditions that triggered repeated recalibration requests, whereas this faucet maintained more dependable motion recognition with smoother stream regulation throughout repeated operation cycles. Maintenance supervisors also reported fewer interruption-related service calls after installation. One compact sink configuration required slight sensitivity adjustments during setup, but once calibrated the infrared responsiveness and valve reliability remained highly consistent overall.
