The Fontana Platinum Chrome Thermostatic Sensor Faucet combines automatic
touchless activation, thermostatic temperature control, adjustable sensing,
AC/DC power, and commercial-grade brass construction.
How should the adjustable 16–32 cm sensor range be commissioned?
Complete sensor commissioning after the basin, mirror, lighting, and
surrounding fixtures are installed. Test hand detection throughout the
16–32 cm adjustment range and verify opening in less than approximately
1 second and closing within approximately 2 seconds. Confirm that nearby
reflective surfaces do not cause unintended activation.
How should the thermostatic hot-and-cold system be commissioned?
Flush both supply lines before connection and verify correct hot and cold
routing. Operate the faucet through normal temperature adjustments and
confirm stable mixed-water delivery. If outlet temperature becomes
inconsistent, inspect supply pressure, hot/cold connections, thermostatic
mixing components, and inlet restrictions before troubleshooting the
electronic sensor system.
How should the AC/DC power and motor valve be checked?
The system supports DC 6V power using four AA alkaline batteries or
AC 220–240V at 50/60Hz. Keep the power supply, controller, wiring, and
motor valve accessible and protected from plumbing leakage. After
energizing the faucet, perform repeated cycles to confirm rapid opening,
complete shutoff, and stable sensor operation.
How should the Chrome finish and infrared sensor area be maintained?
Clean the Chrome surface with a soft damp microfiber cloth and dry after
cleaning. Keep the infrared sensor window and outlet free from soap film
and mineral buildup. Use mild pH-neutral cleaner when required and avoid
abrasive pads, acidic descalers, bleach, ammonia, and aggressive metal
polish that may damage the polished finish.
