Clear coverage, straightforward terms, and a simple claim process.

Coverage Summary

At-a-glance terms for recessed flush systems, urinals, and automatic flush valves.

Product What’s Covered Term Notes
Automatic Recessed Flush Systems Manufacturing defects in materials & workmanship (stainless front panel, sensor module, controller, solenoid/valve, copper/brass valve body, power module) 3 Year Battery packs, AC adaptors, and finishes covered against manufacturing defects only; consumables excluded.
Toilet Urinals Ceramic body (porcelain/vitreous china) and factory-applied glaze; inlet/outlet fittings supplied with unit 3 Year Chips from impact, installation damage, or chemical attack not covered; uses with non-compatible carriers void coverage.
Automatic Flush Valves Manufacturing defects (valve body, sensor module, controller PCB, solenoid/diaphragm assembly, seals) 3 Year Hygiene-rinse/programmable logic covered as electronics; set-up/misprogramming not a defect.
Coverage applies to the original purchaser and normal residential/commercial use. Local laws mandating longer minimum terms take precedence.

Automatic Recessed Flush Systems — Warranty

FontanaShowers® warrants automatic recessed flush systems to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for three (3) year from the date of purchase by the originalpurchaser.

Covered Components

  • Stainless-steel front panel and recessed housing (finish defects from manufacturing)
  • Sensor module (IR/ToF), controller PCB, cables, and connectors
  • Solenoid/diaphragm/valve assembly, copper/brass valve body, and factory seals
  • Power module (battery box and/or AC adaptor) — against manufacturing defects

Remedy

At our option, we will repair or replace a defective covered part. Remedies do not include labor, removal, reinstallation, or shipping costs. Liability will not exceed the product’s purchase price.

Toilet Urinals — Warranty

Porcelain/vitreous-china urinals are warranted against manufacturing defects in ceramic body and glaze for three (3) year.

  • Glaze adhesion/finish and ceramic integrity under normal use
  • Factory-installed inlet/outlet fittings supplied with the fixture

Damage from impact, incorrect carrier selection/installation, harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, or water quality issues (e.g., extreme hardness) is excluded.

Automatic Flush Valves — Warranty

Automatic flush valves (exposed or concealed) are warranted against manufacturing defects for three (3) year.

  • Valve body (copper/brass), diaphragm/solenoid assembly, and seals
  • Sensor module and controller electronics
  • Front panels/trim pieces (finish/manufacturing defects)

Battery life depends on usage and settings; batteries are consumables and not covered. Damage from overpressure, water hammer, or debris in supply lines is excluded.

Installation & Use Requirements

Install per FontanaShowers® instructions and local codes by a qualified professional. Products manufactured overseas may not meet certain local inspection requirements; verification is the purchaser’s responsibility.

  • Flush supply lines before connection; use clean, potable water with pressure within specified range.
  • Provide isolation valves, backflow prevention, and pressure regulation where required.
  • For recessed units: ensure waterproofing of wall cavity and correct sensor window alignment.
  • Observe polarity and voltage for AC modules; use fresh, quality batteries for DC models.
  • Follow rough-in templates and carrier specifications for urinals.

Care & Maintenance (Keeps Your Warranty Valid)

  • Clean stainless panels with non-abrasive, pH-neutral cleaners; avoid chlorine bleach on metals.
  • Periodically descale valves/filters/aerators where applicable; do not scratch sensor windows.
  • Replace batteries as a full set; remove during extended shutdown to prevent leakage.
  • Inspect seals and connections periodically; replace worn O-rings/diaphragms as maintenance items.
  • For porcelain surfaces, use non-abrasive cleaners; avoid impact and harsh chemical agents.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Damage not caused by manufacturing defects (improper installation, misuse, neglect, vandalism, accidents, alterations).
  • Labor, removal, reinstallation, travel, or shipping costs.
  • Mineral buildup, debris-induced blockages, or corrosion from aggressive water/chemicals.
  • Electrical damage from power surges, incorrect voltage, or improper power supplies.
  • Consumables: batteries, filters/strainers, supply lines, gaskets, or non-Fontana accessories.
  • Finish damage from abrasive pads, harsh chemicals, or solvents.

  4. If approved, we will repair or replace the covered part per the warranty terms.
Information that speeds approval
  • Clear media of symptoms and any indicators (LED codes/flush counts/leaks).
  • Installer credentials and brief install notes (pressure regulation, backflow prevention, wiring).
  • Maintenance steps already performed (filter clean, diaphragm check, battery replacement).
