Automatic Recessed Flush Systems — Warranty
FontanaShowers® warrants automatic recessed flush systems to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for
three (3) year from the date of purchase by the originalpurchaser.
Covered Components
Stainless-steel front panel and recessed housing (finish defects from manufacturing)
Sensor module (IR/ToF), controller PCB, cables, and connectors
Solenoid/diaphragm/valve assembly, copper/brass valve body, and factory seals
Power module (battery box and/or AC adaptor) — against manufacturing defects
Remedy
At our option, we will repair or replace a defective covered part. Remedies do not include labor, removal, reinstallation, or shipping costs. Liability will not exceed the product’s purchase price.
Toilet Urinals — Warranty
Porcelain/vitreous-china urinals are warranted against manufacturing defects in ceramic body and glaze for
three (3) year.
Glaze adhesion/finish and ceramic integrity under normal use
Factory-installed inlet/outlet fittings supplied with the fixture
Damage from impact, incorrect carrier selection/installation, harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, or water quality issues (e.g., extreme hardness) is excluded.
Automatic Flush Valves — Warranty
Automatic flush valves (exposed or concealed) are warranted against manufacturing defects for
three (3) year.
Valve body (copper/brass), diaphragm/solenoid assembly, and seals
Sensor module and controller electronics
Front panels/trim pieces (finish/manufacturing defects)
Battery life depends on usage and settings; batteries are consumables and not covered. Damage from overpressure, water hammer, or debris in supply lines is excluded.
Installation & Use Requirements
Install per FontanaShowers® instructions and local codes by a qualified professional. Products manufactured overseas may not meet certain local inspection requirements; verification is the purchaser’s responsibility.
Flush supply lines before connection; use clean, potable water with pressure within specified range.
Provide isolation valves, backflow prevention, and pressure regulation where required.
For recessed units: ensure waterproofing of wall cavity and correct sensor window alignment.
Observe polarity and voltage for AC modules; use fresh, quality batteries for DC models.
Follow rough-in templates and carrier specifications for urinals.
Care & Maintenance (Keeps Your Warranty Valid)
Clean stainless panels with non-abrasive, pH-neutral cleaners; avoid chlorine bleach on metals.
Periodically descale valves/filters/aerators where applicable; do not scratch sensor windows.
Replace batteries as a full set; remove during extended shutdown to prevent leakage.
Inspect seals and connections periodically; replace worn O-rings/diaphragms as maintenance items.
For porcelain surfaces, use non-abrasive cleaners; avoid impact and harsh chemical agents.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
Damage not caused by manufacturing defects (improper installation, misuse, neglect, vandalism, accidents, alterations).
Labor, removal, reinstallation, travel, or shipping costs.
Mineral buildup, debris-induced blockages, or corrosion from aggressive water/chemicals.
Electrical damage from power surges, incorrect voltage, or improper power supplies.
Consumables: batteries, filters/strainers, supply lines, gaskets, or non-Fontana accessories.
Finish damage from abrasive pads, harsh chemicals, or solvents.
