Conselve's brushed-gold finish gives the faucet enough visual authority for premium hospitality spaces without relying on the stronger glare of polished gold. From a specification perspective, however, the finish should come after the fundamentals: basin geometry, sensor reach, mounting tolerance, power access, shutoff location, and a clear maintenance path all need to work together. Brushed surfaces are relatively forgiving of fingerprints, but mineral residue around the outlet still benefits from regular gentle cleaning. I would also coordinate the faucet with dispensers and drains using actual finish samples rather than assuming every brushed gold will match. When the sensing field feels natural and service equipment remains accessible, Conselve achieves the useful balance of upscale architectural character and straightforward hands-free operation expected in a well-planned commercial washroom.

Ask our interior designer and she'll give this faucet five stars because the brushed gold completed the restroom exactly as intended. Ask housekeeping and you'll hear about the extra wiping. I'm somewhere in between. The Conselve has been dependable in daily touchless use and the finish still looks excellent when properly maintained. It simply requires more attention than our brushed nickel fixtures. For a visible hospitality space I'd choose it again; for back-of-house areas I'd stay more practical.
