How should the shower branch be flushed before installing the finished head?
Remove the shower head and flush the branch until construction
debris, solder residue, loose scale, and excess thread-sealing
material are fully discharged. Inspect the shower arm outlet before
connecting the finished brass fixture.
How should the 1/2-inch NPT connection be sealed and pressure-tested?
Inspect both threaded surfaces, apply approved thread-sealing
material sparingly, and engage the fitting without cross-threading.
Tighten without transferring excessive torque to the brass inlet,
then inspect the pressurized joint for seepage.
How should the specified 1.75 GPM discharge be verified?
Stabilize the operating pressure, purge entrained air, and complete
a timed volumetric test at the shower head. Reduced delivery may
indicate branch-line pressure loss, debris, mineral restriction,
or blockage at the internal flow-control component.
What confirms correct commissioning of the MasterClean spray face?
Confirm uniform discharge across the complete 8-inch nozzle field
without inactive outlets, weak zones, pulsing, lateral jetting, or
