The Fontana Conto™ combines solid-brass construction, adjustable infrared
sensing, AC/DC power, and commercial touchless operation.
How should the 10–30 cm sensing range be commissioned?
Complete commissioning after the basin, countertop, mirror, lighting,
and surrounding accessories are installed. Test repeated hand-entry
and withdrawal cycles throughout the sensing zone and confirm reliable
activation with approximately 0.5-second response. Check reflective
surfaces for unintended triggering before final handover.
How should the AC110V / DC6V power system be checked?
Maintain service access to the controller, transformer, battery
compartment, and solenoid. The faucet supports AC110V and DC6V power
using four AA batteries. After energizing the system, verify repeated
activation cycles and complete automatic shutoff.
How should the built-in strainer and solenoid valve be serviced?
Flush the supply piping before final connection and periodically inspect
the built-in strainer for sediment. If flow becomes weak or irregular,
clean the strainer and inspect the G1/2-inch supply path and solenoid
before replacing electronic sensor components.
How should the Matte Black finish and sensor area be maintained?
Clean exposed surfaces with a soft damp microfiber cloth and dry them
afterward. Keep the infrared sensor and outlet free from soap film and
mineral deposits. Avoid abrasive pads, steel wool, acidic cleaners,
bleach, ammonia, and aggressive polishing compounds.
