We installed the Rapallo units during a conference-center restroom upgrade, and the first one took more time to commission than our plumber expected. He adjusted the sensing response and used that setup as the reference for the remaining faucets. Since then, they've been consistent through some very busy events. The brushed gold looks excellent but does need careful cleaning. I would specify them again, just with a little more time reserved for testing before turnover.

We upgraded several hospitality restroom suites between 2022 and 2025 after earlier brushed-gold touchless faucets repeatedly developed visible finish spotting, unstable infrared activation, and delayed shutoff timing during continuous guest usage, and by 2026 this faucet has maintained noticeably steadier operational consistency than previous decorative brushed-gold fixtures maintained in comparable luxury environments. Earlier systems frequently struggled with reflective countertop exposure and fluctuating plumbing pressure conditions that caused repeated recalibration requests, whereas this faucet maintained smoother activation timing with more dependable stream regulation throughout repeated operation cycles. Housekeeping teams also noted that the brushed-gold finish retained its appearance longer than polished decorative fixtures previously installed in the same properties. One reflective sink setup required slight sensitivity refinements during installation, but once calibrated the infrared responsiveness and operational reliability remained highly dependable overall.
