The Bravat Commercial Motion Chrome Automatic Sensor Faucet combines
highly polished chrome-plated brass construction with touch-free infrared
activation for commercial washrooms. The system supports DC 6V battery
operation or AC 220–240V power, provides an adjustable 16–32 cm sensing
range, operates across 0.05–0.7 MPa water pressure, and incorporates rapid
valve response with automatic water-saving shutoff.
How should the 16–32 cm infrared sensing range be commissioned?
Complete sensor commissioning only after the basin, countertop, mirror,
lighting, partitions, and nearby accessories are fully installed. Test
hand detection throughout the adjustable 16–32 cm range and confirm
that the valve opens in less than approximately 1 second after valid
detection and closes within approximately 2 seconds after the hands
leave the sensing field. Verify that reflective surfaces and abnormal
lighting conditions do not produce unintended activation.
How should the 0.05–0.7 MPa operating pressure range be verified?
Flush the supply piping before final connection and confirm that dynamic
water pressure remains within the specified 0.05–0.7 MPa range during
operation. Inspect the DN15 supply connection, in-line filter, valve path,
and vandal-resistant aerator if flow becomes weak or irregular. Hydraulic
restrictions should be corrected before sensor or electronic components
are replaced.
How should the DC 6V and AC 220–240V power options be coordinated?
Determine the intended power arrangement before completing the undercounter
installation. The faucet supports DC 6V power using four AA alkaline
batteries or AC 220–240V at 50/60Hz. Keep the power supply, sensor wiring,
controller, and service connections accessible while protecting them from
plumbing leakage. After energizing the system, perform repeated activation
cycles and verify stable sensor response, valve opening, and complete shutoff.
How should the Chrome finish, sensor window, and aerator be maintained?
Clean the polished Chrome-plated brass surfaces with a soft damp microfiber
cloth and dry them after cleaning to minimize fingerprints, soap film, and
mineral deposits. Keep the infrared sensor window and vandal-resistant
aerator free from residue that could interfere with sensing or water
delivery. Use diluted pH-neutral cleaner when required and avoid abrasive
pads, steel wool, acidic descalers, bleach, ammonia, aggressive metal polish,
and concentrated chemicals that may scratch or dull the Chrome finish.
