FontanaAquaDynamiCore™ Chrome Touchless Basin Faucet FAQ
Temperature Display Accuracy, Sensor Commissioning; Chrome Surface Protection
The FontanaAquaDynamiCore™ Chrome touchless basin faucet combines solid-brass construction, temperature-sensitive LED feedback, hot-and-cold water control, infrared activation, single-hole deck mounting, and a 5.87-inch spout reach for modern commercial and residential washrooms.
How should the temperature-sensitive LED display be checked during commissioning?
Operate the faucet through its full hot-to-cold mixing range and compare the LED temperature indication with water measured using a calibrated thermometer. Confirm that the display changes consistently without flickering, delayed feedback, or incorrect indication caused by unstable power or unbalanced supply pressure.
What should installers verify before positioning the faucet over the basin?
Confirm that the 5.87-inch spout reach places the stream near the basin drain rather than against the rear or side wall. The 4.61-inch overall height, 3.54-inch spout height, mounting-hole location, and basin depth should be coordinated before securing the single-hole deck connection.
What can cause unstable outlet temperature in this hot-and-cold touchless faucet?
Unequal dynamic pressure, partially closed service stops, restricted inlet hoses, or construction debris can compress the usable mixing range. Flush both supplies independently, inspect the inlet filters, and balance the hot and cold branches while the faucet is operating before diagnosing the internal mixing components.
How should the polished Chrome finish and LED surface be cleaned safely?
Remove fingerprints, water spotting, and soap residue with a soft damp microfiber cloth, then dry the faucet immediately. Use diluted pH-neutral soap only and avoid abrasive pads, acidic descalers, bleach, ammonia, steel wool, polishing powders, and concentrated disinfectants that may scratch or haze the reflective surface.
