How should the supply line be flushed before the shower head is connected?
Open the shower valve with the head removed and flush the 1/2-inch supply until solder residue, thread sealant, pipe scale, and construction debris are fully cleared, preventing blockage of the internal flow-control passage and individual spray outlets.
What can cause reduced output from the 1.75 GPM spray system?
Low dynamic pressure, debris within the inlet, mineral restriction at the MasterClean nozzles, or an obstructed upstream valve can reduce discharge. Verify branch pressure and clean the spray face before altering any flow-control component.
Why should the ball joint not be used to tighten the threaded connection?
