The Fontana Riviera™ Series Gold automatic bathroom faucet combines solid-brass construction, single-hole wall mounting, infrared touchless activation, a ceramic valve core, AC or DC power compatibility, and standard G1/2-inch inlet and outlet connections.
How should the concealed G1/2-inch wall connections be aligned before installation?
Set the inlet and outlet connections level, square to the finished wall, and firmly supported within the wall cavity. Coordinate the spout centerline with the basin drain so the stream lands inside the intended washing area without striking the rear basin wall or producing excessive countertop splash.
How should the infrared sensing zone be commissioned after the faucet is installed?
Complete sensor testing after the basin, mirror, backsplash, lighting, soap dispenser, and surrounding accessories are in their final positions. Confirm prompt activation from normal hand-entry angles without false triggering from reflective surfaces, passing movement, cleaning equipment, or objects beyond the intended washing zone.
What should be checked if flow becomes unstable or shutoff is delayed?
Flush the supply branch before final connection, inspect the inlet passage for construction debris, verify stable AC or DC power, and cycle the ceramic valve repeatedly. Sediment, restricted piping, unstable pressure, or contamination at the valve seat can reduce discharge or prevent immediate closure after hand removal.
How should the polished Gold finish be cleaned without scratching or dulling it?
Remove fingerprints, water spots, and soap residue with a soft damp microfiber cloth, then dry the faucet immediately. Use diluted pH-neutral soap only and avoid abrasive pads, acidic descalers, bleach, ammonia, steel wool, polishing powders, metal polish, and concentrated disinfectants.
