The Fontana Riviera™ Series Champagne Single Hole Automatic Smart Sensor Faucet
combines solid-brass construction with a ceramic valve core, infrared touchless
activation, and single-hole wall-mounted installation. The system supports AC/DC
power, uses G1/2-inch inlet and outlet connections, provides an adjustable
16–32 cm detection zone, opens in less than 1 second, closes in less than
2 seconds, and is engineered for commercial and residential washroom applications.
How should the adjustable 16–32 cm infrared sensing zone be commissioned?
Complete final sensor calibration only after the basin, finished wall,
mirror, lighting, partitions, and surrounding restroom accessories are
installed. Test hand detection throughout the adjustable 16–32 cm sensing
range and confirm that water begins flowing in less than 1 second after
valid detection and shuts off within approximately 2 seconds after the
user's hands leave the sensing field. Reduce or reposition the detection
zone if reflective surfaces or adjacent circulation cause false activation.
How should the faucet be tested across its specified water-pressure range?
Flush the supply piping before connecting the G1/2-inch inlet and verify
stable dynamic pressure during operation. The faucet requires at least
0.5 bar, with approximately 1–5 bar recommended for normal service and
a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar. At approximately 3 bar the system
is specified to provide at least 12 L/min. Weak or unstable flow should
prompt inspection of supply valves, filters, connections, and internal
passages before electronic components are serviced.
How should the AC/DC power system and ceramic valve be checked during commissioning?
Verify the selected AC or DC power arrangement before completing the
concealed installation and maintain accessible service space for the
control electronics, sensor wiring, and valve assembly. Cycle the faucet
repeatedly and confirm consistent sensor detection, rapid ceramic-valve
opening, and complete shutoff. If sensing remains stable but water delivery
is delayed or incomplete, inspect the ceramic valve and hydraulic path
separately from the electronic control system.
How should the Champagne finish and infrared sensor surface be maintained?
Clean the exposed Champagne-finished brass surfaces with a soft damp
microfiber cloth and dry them after cleaning to minimize fingerprints,
soap film, and mineral spotting. Keep the infrared sensor window free
from residue that could interfere with detection. Use diluted pH-neutral
soap when required and avoid abrasive pads, steel wool, acidic descalers,
bleach, ammonia, aggressive metal polish, and concentrated chemical
cleaners that may scratch or alter the Champagne finish.
